Cancelling a licence
How to cancel, what happens to the software afterwards, and when a refund applies.
How to cancel
Write to info@neosphyr.com, from the address the licence was bought with or quoting the licence key or order reference. One line is enough — you do not have to give a reason, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
We confirm the cancellation by email. If you do not get that confirmation, the cancellation has not reached us: write again rather than assume.
What happens to the software
A cancelled licence runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed after it. When it expires the plug-in stops running until a valid licence is activated.
Nothing is deleted from your computer, and none of your Revit models are touched. Parameters the software has written into a model stay where they are, and any exported schedule or report you have produced remains yours.
Refunds
Our 14-day money-back guarantee
We offer every customer a 14-day money-back guarantee on their first paid licence for a given product, with no reason required. It does not apply to renewals, or to buying a product again after you have already claimed on it. The full terms are in clause 9 of the Licence Agreement.
Consumers: your statutory right to cancel
If you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business, you have a right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract. Because the software is supplied by download, that right is lost once supply begins — provided you gave express consent to supply beginning early and acknowledged that the right would be lost. Clause 8 of the Licence Agreement has the detail.
How and when you get the money
Refunds go back to the original payment method, within 14 days of us accepting the cancellation or refund request.
This page summarises clause 7 of the Terms of Service and clauses 8 and 9 of the Licence Agreement. Where this summary and those documents differ, the documents are what binds.
